Q: How should I maintain my rooftop tent?
A: Proper maintenance of your rooftop tent ensures its longevity and optimal performance. Here are some essential maintenance tips:
1. Remove all bedding and mattress when not in use: It is recommended to remove all bedding, including pillows, sheets, and the mattress, from your rooftop tent when it's not in use. This practice helps prevent moisture buildup and keeps your bedding fresh.
2. Air out every two weeks: To maintain a clean and fresh interior, it's advisable to air out your rooftop tent at least once every two weeks, even when not in use. This allows for ventilation and helps prevent musty odors or mildew from developing.
3. Increased moisture during colder weather: It's important to note that during colder weather conditions, there may be a higher likelihood of moisture buildup inside the tent. To minimize this, ensure proper ventilation and consider using moisture-absorbing products such as desiccant packs or silica gel inside the tent.
4. Leave a window open for airflow while camping: When you're camping in your rooftop tent, it's beneficial to leave a window slightly open to promote airflow. This helps in maintaining a comfortable and well-ventilated environment inside the tent and reduces the chance of condensation.

WHAT DOES THE WARRANTY COVER?
What does my warranty cover?
- Any defect in design or manufacture which results in the product failing to perform substantially as described in authorised advertising or literature.
- We will either repair or replace the product at our discretion providing that the fault is found to have been caused by a design or manufacturing defect and not misuse or tampering.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The benefits provided to you as the consumer by this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies available to you under the law.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS :
- Any damage resulting from improper use
- Faulty installation or modification made during installation
- The cost of removing and reinstalling the product
- Travel and /or other expenses due to customer’s remote location
- Additional transport charges and damage in transit.
- Any loss directly or indirectly associated with the product failing to operate.
- Wear and Tear from normal use
- Damage caused by mould, condensation, insects, animals, misuse, incorrect operation, adverse weather, accidents and fair wear and tear. This also includes broken poles and damage caused by a jammed, snagged zipper or excessive force applied to zipper causing failure
- Accidental puncture or piercing of canvas and insect screens

Delivery:
When a customer buys a roof top tent from our company, they can be assured that the delivery process will be seamless and hassle-free. Our team will work with the customer to ensure that the tent is delivered to a location that is easily accessible for our delivery team.
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver roof top tents to residential addresses, Instead Rooftop tents will be deliveredt to your closest Depot. If there isn’t a depot close by we will be in contact with you to work out a solution
Alternatively if you have a business address with a forklift on site please send us an email and we can arrange this
Overall, the customer can be confident that they will receive their roof top tent in perfect condition, with minimal fuss
Refund Policy:
At Step Above 4x4, we stand behind the quality of our products and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, we will be happy to issue a full refund for the purchase price of the product.
Please note that our refund policy does not cover the cost of shipping, and we are unable to offer refunds for items that are not damaged or incorrect. If you have any issues with your order, please contact us within 30 days of receiving it to request a refund.

Pre-order:
When you place a pre order for an item, it means that you are reserving a unit of that product before it is released or back in stock. Pre orders are shipped out as soon as the product becomes available, so you will receive your item as soon as it is released or back in stock.
